ShopRite/PriceRite Presentation
On September 24th at 10:00 am in Coventry at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Patriots Park there will be a check presentation and Veterans ceremony. You can be a part of this event. The agenda will include flag holders of aprx 50 flags, a fallen soldier’s display, a POW-MIA display and 30-40 Biographies of the CT 612. This is a huge donation for the future maintained and Veterans programs at the Vietnam Veterans memorial. The generosity of the ShopRite/PriceRite owners of Connecticut and their affiliated warehouse Wakefern Food Corp. has made this possible. The amount of the donation is $10,000.00 and we would like to show our sincerest appreciation by having this event. The check will be presented at approximately 11:45 by the owners at the Vietnam Memorial. Included in the event will be a Marine Color Guard, the Pledge of Allegiance and taps will be played. Anyone wishing to participate would be appreciated.
